What is English Wordle?

English Wordle is a deduction word game built around vocabulary recall. Each guess is scored letter by letter so you can see which letters are correct, which letters appear in another position, and which letters are not in the answer.

The format is intentionally compact: one hidden word, six guesses, and clear feedback after every attempt.

How to play English Wordle online

Type a word with the required number of letters and submit it. Green tiles mean the letter is correct and in the right position, yellow tiles mean the letter appears elsewhere, and muted tiles mean the letter is not part of the answer.

1. Guess the hidden word within the allowed number of attempts.
2. Use the color feedback after each guess to refine the next one.
3. Correct letters in the right place are locked as strong clues.
4. The round is won when the full word is guessed.

Color feedback

A green tile locks a letter into its exact position. A yellow tile confirms the letter is in the answer but somewhere else. A muted tile means that letter is not needed unless another copy has already been confirmed.
